What's Happening?
A fatal accident occurred on Route 1 southbound in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, when a man was killed after exiting his vehicle due to mechanical issues. The incident took place around 5:30 a.m. between the Rockhill Drive/Neshaminy Mall exit and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
The driver, identified as 45-year-old Julio Ricardo Munoz from Philadelphia, stopped his Honda Fit on the roadway and exited the vehicle. Subsequently, a Kia Seltos collided with the Honda, causing it to hit Munoz. The Honda was then struck again by a Jeep Cherokee. A front-seat passenger in the Honda was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Bensalem police are currently investigating the crash.
