Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) has introduced the Shenxing Pro, a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, at the IAA Mobility 2025 event in Munich. This battery is designed to meet the growing demands of Europe's electric vehicle (EV) market by offering enhanced safety, lifespan, range, and superfast-charging capabilities. The Shenxing Pro is equipped with CATL's NP 3.0 Technology, which ensures high safety standards by maintaining power and preventing fire or smoke even after thermal runaway. The battery comes in two variants: the Super Long Life & Long Range Battery, which offers a 758 km range and a 12-year lifespan, and the Super-Fast Charging Battery, which can charge 478 km in just 10 minutes. These advancements aim to address consumer concerns about battery lifespan, range limitations, and charging infrastructure.
