Elena Babinecz has joined Baker Donelson as a shareholder in its financial services litigation and compliance group based in Washington, D.C. Babinecz's expertise lies in consumer financial services regulatory
matters, including fair lending, small business lending, and language access. She will be advising financial services clients on compliance obligations and regulatory challenges. Prior to this role, Babinecz served as the Deputy Assistant Director in the Office of Regulations at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), where she was responsible for overseeing the Equal Credit Opportunity Act.
