What's Happening?
UK artist Sonia Boyce, known for winning the Golden Lion at the 2022 Venice Biennale, is set to present a new work at University College London (UCL) as part of its bicentenary celebrations. The UCL Legacy
Commission will be located at the historic Bloomsbury campus. Boyce's work aims to reflect UCL's reputation for radical curiosity and transformational knowledge. Additionally, three artists-in-residence will create works exploring the institution's culture. Kreider and O’Leary will unveil a permanent piece in the UCL Cloisters, while Abel Holsborough and Verity-Jane Keefe will focus on community building and historical power dynamics at UCL's campuses.
