Leonard Louis Slonsky, a resident of Downers Grove, Illinois, has passed away at the age of 88. Slonsky was a proud disabled U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Libera-Slonsky, and a large family
including children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A funeral service is scheduled to take place at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. The service will be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Asher House Animal Refuge.
