The Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley High School girls golf team achieved a notable second-place finish in the IHSA Class 1A Dwight Regional. In addition to the team’s success, individual golfer Lilyan Sizemore excelled by shooting an 85, securing the first-place position among all participating golfers. The competition also saw Manteno and Iroquois West qualifying for the next stage with scores of 405 and 413, respectively.
