What's Happening?
Riviera Beach's Community Redevelopment Agency has approved plans for the Gallery at Marina Village, a significant development project on Broadway. The project includes two 20-story residential towers,
a nine-level parking structure, and retail and office spaces. It aims to address the workforce housing crisis by providing market-rate rentals. The development is part of a broader effort to revitalize the Broadway corridor, which has been plagued by blight and crime. The project is a collaboration between Related Urban, the BH Group, and Terzal Partners.
Why It's Important?
The Gallery at Marina Village represents a major investment in Riviera Beach's infrastructure and housing market. By providing new housing options and commercial spaces, the project aims to stimulate economic growth and improve the quality of life for residents. The development is expected to attract further investment and contribute to the transformation of the Broadway corridor into a vibrant urban area. This initiative aligns with broader urban renewal efforts to address housing shortages and revitalize underdeveloped areas.
