What's Happening?
The Montana State University (MSU) golf team is set to commence its 2025-26 season at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The tournament, hosted by the University of New Mexico, will feature 54 holes of competition, starting with 36 continuous holes on Monday and concluding with a final round on Tuesday. The MSU team, ranked third in the Big Sky Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll, will compete against 14 other teams, including top-ranked Sacramento State and second-ranked Northern Arizona. The Bobcats' lineup includes seniors Lauren Greeny and Maddie Montoya, junior transfer Norah Seidl, freshman Ashleigh Wilson, and junior Eva Heinz. The tournament also marks a homecoming for MSU head coach, a 1995 graduate of the University of New Mexico and former Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year.
