A Philadelphia couple, Aleks Vasov and Regina Morozova, successfully aided police in locating their stolen white Dodge Durango by utilizing multiple hidden AirTags within the vehicle. The SUV was stolen from outside their East Kensington home on Jasper
Street just before 3 a.m. on a Friday morning. Upon hearing their engine start, Morozova observed the vehicle being driven away. Surveillance footage shared with NBC10 showed an individual breaking the Durango's back window, entering the vehicle, and then driving off with a group in another car. While Vasov called 911, Morozova accessed their surveillance cameras and, crucially, tracked the stolen SUV's location using the hidden AirTags. They continuously relayed this real-time tracking information to the police, who were then able to patiently trace the vehicle to a stationary location over four miles from the theft site. The couple later recovered their Durango, though it was found in poor condition.
