Delaware has launched a new training program for state employees focused on the responsible, effective, and ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI) in government work. This initiative is part of a broader effort by the Delaware AI Commission, established
in July 2024, to guide AI adoption across the state. The training, developed in collaboration with InnovateUS, is available on the Delaware Learning Center and will be assigned to executive branch employees. The program aims to equip the state workforce with essential AI skills, which are increasingly seen as fundamental digital competencies. Delaware joins other states like California, Georgia, Maryland, and New York in offering similar training programs.
