What's Happening?
A care home in Glemsford, near Sudbury, was evacuated after a hybrid car caught fire in its parking area. The incident occurred at The Briars Residential Care Home around 09:50 GMT. Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service responded to the scene, where the vehicle
was found to be well alight. Despite the intensity of the fire, there was no damage reported to the main building of the care home. The fire was successfully managed and the situation was under control by approximately 11:20 GMT.
