Douglas J. Wessie, a lifelong resident of Marion, New York, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on March 14, 1938, Doug dedicated 30 years of his career to Xerox Corporation before retiring. In his retirement, he enjoyed farming
and selling produce and flowers at local farmers markets. Doug was known for his love of camping, playing Euchre, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jeanette, his children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughters. Calling hours are scheduled for May 28 at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, with a private interment at Marion Cemetery.
