What's Happening?
The W.K. Kellogg Foundation and IREX have announced the launch of Alumni Catalyst, a new initiative designed to strengthen alumni engagement, collaboration, and measurable impact across various fellowship programs globally. This initiative, supported
by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, aims to provide practical tools, learning opportunities, and cross-program connections to help fellowship providers sustain alumni networks and extend the value of leadership development into communities. Alumni Catalyst builds upon IREX's existing Impact Fellowships Network (IFN), a global community of over 850 fellowship professionals. The program seeks to address the challenge of maintaining alumni connections and activity after the formal fellowship period, ensuring that the transformative experiences gained continue to benefit communities long-term. The initiative will pilot alumni engagement mapping, practical toolkits, learning and networking opportunities, an Alumni Advisory Council, and select in-person convenings over the next two years.
