In an increasingly digital world, access to reliable, culturally appropriate, and multilingual information is paramount for refugees and immigrants who often face language barriers and unfamiliarity with U.S. systems. The role's emphasis on trauma-informed and equitable services highlights a commitment to dignity and respect, recognizing the unique experiences and needs of these individuals. This effort also contributes to combating misinformation and disinformation, which can be particularly harmful to new arrivals.
