NASA has identified a new quasi moon, an asteroid named 2025 PN7, which will accompany Earth for the next 50 years. This asteroid, approximately 62 feet wide, follows an orbit similar to Earth's, making
it appear as a companion. Discovered by the Pan-STARRS survey in Hawaii, 2025 PN7 is classified as a near-Earth object. Although not a true satellite, its orbit keeps it close to Earth, providing a unique opportunity for scientific study. The Minor Planet Center in Massachusetts is responsible for tracking and confirming the asteroid's orbit.
