What's Happening?
Team Lionstrike, a consortium consisting of GM Defense, BAE Systems, and NP Aerospace, is proposing a variant of GM Defense's Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV) for the UK Ministry of Defence's Land Mobility
Programme (LMP). The ISV is adapted to tow a 105 mm light gun and aims to replace the aging Pinzgauer vehicles currently used by the British Army. The consortium was announced on September 3, 2025, and is competing for segments including Light Mobility Vehicle (LMV), Light Protected Mobility (LPM), and General Support Utility Platform (GSUP). The ISV offers various configurations, including the ISV-9, which can carry nine personnel and has a towing capacity of 2,265 kg.
