roles as associate pastor at St. Nicholas in Evanston, St. Joseph in Wilmette, and St. Peter in Skokie. He later became pastor at St. Mary of the Lake in Chicago and St. Catherine Labouré in Glenview. Mair was also involved with the Priest Placement Board and the Priest Retirement and Mutual Aid Association. Known for his love of golf, travel, and spending time with friends, Mair was a beloved figure in his community. He is survived by his siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at St. Catherine Labouré, with visitation on April 9 and a Mass on April 10.
