Rampart Communications, a U.S. startup, has developed a new stealth radio device called StrataWave, designed to protect drone pilots from detection during operations. The StrataWave radio employs two levels of protection to make its signal extremely difficult to detect or jam. It encrypts the signal and spreads it across the radio spectrum, rather than broadcasting on a single frequency, which makes radio emissions quieter and harder to detect. This technology was unveiled at the Pentagon's Technology Readiness Experimentation (TREX) event in Indiana, where it successfully passed over 60 jamming tests without interference.
