earned a Bachelor of Arts from the National College of Education in 1972. He was known for his passion for playing pool and teaching others the game. Uhwat was cherished by his friends and family, and his services and interment were privately held on September 26, 2025. He is survived by his children, Leslie Smith and Scott Uhwat, and grandchildren Carter and Caden.
