Mrs. Geneva Curry Lassiter, a long-time resident of Augusta, Georgia, passed away at the age of 94 on January 22, 2026. Born in Jeffersonville, Georgia, she was a dedicated member of Trinity CME Church
for over 60 years. Known for her charitable spirit, Mrs. Lassiter was celebrated for her culinary contributions to the needy and her community. She is survived by her daughter, Mellie Briggs, two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A visitation is scheduled for February 6, 2026, with a Homegoing Celebration to follow on February 7, 2026, at Trinity CME Church. Interment will take place at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens.
