Audi has relaunched its myAudi app, incorporating an artificial intelligence assistant co-developed with CARIAD using ChatGPT technology. The redesigned app connects vehicle, smartphone, and web interfaces,
offering a unified design and an AI assistant that accesses the logbook and answers technical questions from the onboard manual. The app includes a digital key function, allowing users to lock, unlock, and start their vehicles from smartphones or smartwatches, eliminating the need for physical keys. Additionally, a new shopping tab provides product recommendations tailored to specific vehicle models, covering both digital services and physical products. Existing features such as route planning, charging management, and vehicle data access remain intact. For electric vehicle drivers, the app supports management of charging schedules, Plug & Charge functionality, and range displays, with battery preconditioning available for selected models. The updated myAudi app is available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store across more than 50 markets, with plans to expand availability to additional countries.
