Laura Chapman from Rugby, Warwickshire, plans to run 100 miles to raise funds for Birmingham Children's Hospital, which treated her nephew Darragh, born with severe heart conditions. The Ultra Marathon will take place during British Heart Week in June,
covering a route from Cannock to the Cotswolds. Darragh, now five, has undergone three open-heart surgeries, and his recovery has inspired Chapman to undertake this challenge. She began training in June last year and aims to express gratitude to the hospital staff who have supported her nephew's journey.
