Father Brian Woodrow, pastor of St. Dominic Parish, stated that the goal is to provide more than just food or household necessities; it aims to build genuine one-on-one relationships and reflect Christian love through personal accompaniment. The initiative stems from a recognition of changing patterns of poverty, where many struggling individuals may appear financially secure but are living paycheck to paycheck or burdened by debt. The St. Carlo Care Center is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon, accepting donations during these hours.
