What's Happening?
The historic steamship Shieldhall is set to return to Poole Harbour for a five-day program of heritage sailings, live music, and a free open day. The National Historic Fleet vessel will arrive from Southampton on August 13 and offer visitors the chance
to explore its working steam engines, traditional bridge, and teak decks. Shieldhall will then head out from Poole on scenic cruises on August 15 and 16, with entertainment provided by the Dorset Mutineers Shanty Band and the Wareham Whalers. The ship is scheduled to leave Poole on August 17 for a one-way cruise back to Southampton.
