The City of Pharr, Texas, has been awarded $4,367,136 through the Building the Texas Broadband Workforce Grant Program. This initiative aims to develop a skilled workforce to connect Texas communities to high-speed internet. With an additional $500,000
local match, the total investment reaches $4,867,136. The funding will support Pharr Connect U, a tuition-free broadband workforce development program.
