What's Happening?
Rozema Boat Works, Inc. has received a multi-year IDIQ contract from the U.S. Coast Guard to build up to six SPC-HWX II vessels. These vessels are designed for extreme weather conditions and will replace older models retired in 2021. The 64-foot boats
will support missions such as search and rescue, law enforcement, and coastal security, primarily in the Pacific Northwest. The vessels are equipped with twin 1,200 hp engines, capable of operating 150 miles offshore, and are designed to withstand severe sea and wind conditions.
