Rupp was an active member of the Third Presbyterian Church and the Inayatiyya order of universal Sufism, where she held leadership roles. Her community service included fundraising, hurricane relief efforts, and aiding in the resettlement of an Afghan family. Rupp is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, and other family members. A celebration of her life is scheduled for March 7th at the Third Presbyterian Church.
