What's Happening?
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), in collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services, the Center for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), and Tejas Networks, has unveiled India's first indigenously developed 4G stack. The Bharat Telecom Stack integrates C-DOT's EPC core network technology with Tejas's base stations, covering 100,000 sites. This initiative aims to provide affordable 4G services to over 22 million people in previously unconnected areas, supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a self-reliant India in technology development.
