In Irvine, California, two suspects were apprehended during a burglary at a luxury handbag store. The incident occurred early Monday morning when surveillance cameras detected the suspects inside the store located
near Jamboree Road and Dupont Drive. Building security promptly alerted the Irvine police, who, with the assistance of the Costa Mesa Police Department's drone, located and arrested the suspects. The suspects, identified as Richard Bernard Spencer, 40, from Los Angeles, and Marcellus Ronell Shelby, 30, from Hollywood, were found hiding within the store. Approximately $100,000 worth of designer handbags were recovered and returned to the store. Both individuals now face multiple felony charges, including burglary, grand theft, conspiracy, vandalism, and resisting arrest. They have been booked into the Orange County Jail.
