The animated film 'IMAGINE,' created by Indigenous Australians Jack Banning Mycroft and Tyson Yunkaporta, is set for a limited theatrical release. The film follows a 15-year-old protagonist, Kim, who embarks
on a journey across surreal islands with an alien dog, exploring profound life questions. Developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the film's script was a collaborative effort involving 150 young people and numerous contributors, including former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Ndileka Mandela. 'IMAGINE' has been showcased at various international film festivals and will be released in Australian theaters on January 26 and January 30.
