What's Happening?
The Oil Boil Mutation was introduced to the 'Grow a Garden' game on October 4, 2025, as part of the Chubby Chipmunk update. This mutation is a combination of two other mutations, Oil and Boil, which can be acquired through specific in-game events. The Oil Mutation can be obtained from the admin-only event 'Oil Rain!' or through the Junkbot pet ability. Similarly, the Boil Mutation is available through the 'Boil rain!' weather event, also triggered by admins. Once both mutations are present on a crop, they combine to form the Oil Boil Mutation, significantly increasing the crop's value by 30 times when sold.
