Italian MRO provider Atitech has entered into a letter of intent with Saudi Arabian investment firm Alnimr Alarabi Holding to explore the establishment of a maintenance center of excellence in Saudi Arabia. Announced at Aviation Week’s MRO Europe event,
this collaboration aims to serve the South Asia, Middle East, and Africa regions. Atitech, which operates 12 maintenance hangars across Italy, is expanding its international presence through this venture. The partnership is part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 strategy, which seeks to enhance the country's aviation sector by attracting international maintenance companies. The new MRO hub is expected to meet international certification standards and will focus on building a local workforce through technical training programs.
