Mary Jane Schuler Cutt Roque, affectionately known as Jane, passed away at the age of 89 on December 13, 2025, at her home. Jane was a dedicated educator who spent over 30 years teaching in Western Springs,
Illinois. She was born and raised in Oak Park, Illinois, and was deeply passionate about education. Jane is survived by her husband, Michael Roque, her children Lisa A. Cutt, William R. Cutt, and Martha L. Cutt, as well as her bonus children Grant Roque and Michele Wilcox. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Sydney Schor, Fiona Schor, Clara Schor, Anthony Sager-Cutt, Lewis Sager-Cutt, and Steven Sager-Cutt. A celebration of her life is scheduled to take place at Wolf’s Head Inn on December 23, 2025.
