Natasza Dudek, representing the Purple Track Club, set a new course record at the NXR Midwest Regional race, leading her team to victory. The event took place at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre
Haute, Indiana. Dudek completed the 5,000-meter race in 16 minutes and 18.5 seconds, surpassing the previous record set by Rachel Forsyth in 2023. This performance positions Dudek as a strong contender for the upcoming nationals in Portland, Oregon. The Purple Track Club, coached by Ian Forsyth, secured the team title with a narrow victory over Runners High. The event also saw impressive performances from other athletes, including Emma Hoffman and Philip Cupial, who won the boys' race.
