Collins Aerospace, a division of RTX, has inaugurated its new Collins India Operations Center (CIOC) in Bengaluru, India. The 26-acre facility is located at KIADB Aerospace Park and is designed to enhance
the company's capability to manufacture advanced aerospace products for global markets. The facility will utilize cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, additive manufacturing, and robotics to produce a variety of aerospace components including seats, lighting, cargo systems, and communication systems. The CIOC aims to drive operations and manufacturing for over 70 Collins products, with plans to expand capacity to support future growth opportunities. The site is equipped with an Industry 4.0 Building Management System and is certified by LEED Silver and the Indian Green Building Council. Collins Aerospace has been investing in India for nearly three decades, employing over 6,500 people across various functions.
