What's Happening?
Northern Kentucky University’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art courtroom and student center. The Chase College Foundation Courtroom and Chase Student Center, opened in November, are designed to provide students with
practical legal education opportunities. The courtroom is equipped with modern technology and features a judicial bench, jury box, and a 100-seat gallery, among other facilities. It will be used for trial advocacy classes, mock trials, and sessions of various courts, including the Supreme Court of Kentucky. The student center offers study rooms, carrels, and a common area for students. Dean Judith Daar highlighted the four-year effort to realize this project, supported by over 125 alumni and friends.
Why It's Important?
The opening of the new courtroom and student center at NKU Chase Law represents a significant advancement in legal education.
