A recent study highlights the evolving challenges faced by Jewish educators in North America, as they navigate the impacts of rising antisemitism, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in education, and the aftermath of significant events such
as October 7. Conducted by Rosov Consulting with support from the Jim Joseph Foundation, the Growing Educators and Leaders Study (GELS) surveyed over 600 Jewish educators. The findings reveal that educators are experiencing increased emotional burdens, heightened vigilance, and new responsibilities in addressing learners' questions and fears. The study also notes the growing use of AI in educational settings, which presents both opportunities and challenges, such as ethical concerns and issues related to academic integrity.
