Honor and Valeo have announced plans to expand their operations in Egypt, highlighting the country's strategic importance in the Middle Eastern and African ITC sectors. Honor, a smart devices provider, is set to open its first overseas smartphone manufacturing
facility in 10th of Ramadan City, near Cairo. This facility, in collaboration with Etisal Trading, aims to produce high-quality devices at competitive prices, creating 1,000 jobs. Meanwhile, Valeo, a smart mobility specialist, is launching an AI development center in Cairo to enhance its global AI integration and develop next-generation smart mobility software.
