Jeannie was a graduate of Barrett School of Nursing and devoted over 50 years to her profession, working at various hospitals before retiring and continuing her service through home health care. She was also an active member of the Church of the Holy Comforter, where she served as a greeter. Jeannie was known for her kindness and compassion, traits that extended to her involvement with the Boston Terrier Rescue of South Carolina, where she fostered dogs and treated them as family. Her funeral service is scheduled for January 14, 2026, at the Church of the Holy Comforter in Martinez, Georgia.
