located at 409 Wilkinson Avenue, is ten times larger than its previous site, allowing for expanded manufacturing, research and development, quality control, and global support functions. The opening event also featured the announcement of an additional $5 million in funding from Export Development Canada (EDC) to support GIT Coatings' global market expansion and export capabilities. The company’s innovative coatings are currently applied to over 500 vessels across more than 20 countries, helping shipowners reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions while eliminating toxic copper and silicon oil release into oceans.
