In Bibb County, Georgia, an innovative pilot program is using AI simulations to improve teacher-parent communication. The program, part of the Emerging Educators initiative, aims to support new teachers transitioning from non-education fields. Teachers
participate in AI-based meeting simulations developed by the Branch Alliance for Educator Diversity. These simulations mimic real-life parent-teacher meetings, allowing teachers to practice handling various scenarios. The AI avatars, each with unique personalities, respond in real-time, providing a realistic training environment. Teachers debrief with mentors after each session to discuss strategies and outcomes.
