David Lee Cole, a prominent figure in the insurance industry, passed away at the age of 78 in Chicago, Illinois. Born in 1947, Cole had a distinguished career, notably serving as Chairman, President, and CEO of Aon's property and casualty company. He
was instrumental in forming the Aon Warranty Group, which later became The Warranty Group after being acquired by Onex Corporation. Cole retired in 2012 after a successful career. He is survived by his wife, Colleen, and their four children. A visitation and service are scheduled at St. Chrysostom's Episcopal Church.
