VHM Advances Goschen Project with Environmental Approval

VHM, a rare earths and mineral sands developer, is moving forward with the Goschen Rare Earths and Mineral Sands Project in Victoria after receiving approval under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation (EPBC) Act 1999. This approval allows the company to proceed with final design, construction planning, and operational readiness activities, expected to begin in 2026. VHM is also focusing on finalizing a work plan, strategic offtake agreements, and financing, alongside front-end engineering and design. CEO Ron Douglas emphasized the importance of securing EPBC approval as a critical step in de-risking the project. The Goschen Project aims to produce rare earths and heavy minerals, boasting a resource of 413,107 tonnes of total rare earth oxide.
