The Portage County Historical Society is organizing a guided bus tour on May 9 to explore the county's rich history. The tour, named 'Sights & Stories,' will run from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., starting at Heritage Park in Plover. Participants will visit several
historical sites, including the Beth Israel Synagogue Museum, Sacred Heart Church in Polonia, and the Rising Star Mill in Nelsonville. These stops highlight the area's Jewish and Polish heritage and its rural development. Registration is required due to limited space.
