Micah House hosted its annual Back2School Jam in Redlands, California, providing over 1,100 students with backpacks filled with school supplies. The community event brought together numerous organizations to offer a wide array of resources, including
books, free haircuts, and other essential services. In addition to the backpacks, 30 bicycles and scooters were given away, and Street Shaves provided 100 free haircuts. The A.K. Smiley Public Library distributed hundreds of new books and helped students sign up for library cards, while the Redlands Police Officers Association served 500 hot dogs. The event aims to support families facing barriers such as limited resources, demanding work schedules, and language barriers.
