The Democrat and Chronicle has announced the Section V Athletes of the Week for November 3-9, highlighting exceptional performances in high school sports. Leo Hopkins, a Brighton receiver/cornerback, was
recognized for his contributions in the Class A1 final, scoring two touchdowns and securing an interception. Lily Orlando, a senior swimmer from Pittsford, won multiple freestyle races at the Section V Class A Swimming and Diving Championships, earning the title of swimmer of the meet. Jackson Piacitelli, a Fairport senior, played a crucial role in his team's victory in the Class AAA final, scoring pivotal goals.
