What's Happening?
Northants-based landscaping and vegetation management company, VMS, has announced the launch of a new arboriculture consultancy service. This expansion, initiated in September, underscores the company's commitment to safety-led and environmentally responsible
vegetation management. The new service will be available nationwide, offering a variety of services such as tree surveys, Arboriculture Impact Assessments, and advice on tree preservation orders. Additionally, it will provide emergency tree safety reports and tree management plans. Helen Mallett, the training department manager at VMS, emphasized that this service complements their existing operations, ensuring seamless integration between consultancy and operations with a focus on quality, compliance, and biodiversity. Mathew Graham, with 20 years of experience in surveying and consultancy, will lead the new service as the lead consultant.
Why It's Important?
The expansion into arboriculture by VMS is significant as it reflects a growing trend in the landscaping industry towards more specialized and environmentally conscious services. By offering a comprehensive range of arboriculture services, VMS is positioning itself to meet increasing demand for sustainable vegetation management solutions. This move could potentially set a precedent for other companies in the industry to follow, emphasizing the importance of integrating environmental responsibility into business operations. Clients stand to benefit from improved service offerings that prioritize ecological balance and safety, while VMS could see enhanced business opportunities and market reach.
