The Indiana Department of Education has announced a new initiative to expand cybersecurity education in high schools, aiming to address the state's significant number of open cybersecurity roles. In partnership with organizations like the College Board
and Project Lead the Way (PLTW), the initiative will broaden access to cybersecurity courses, reaching 200 high schools and approximately 4,000 students over the next three years. The curriculum includes hands-on projects and role-playing experiences, aligning with industry standards to prepare students for high-demand careers in cybersecurity and related fields.
