The Cal Poly Universities float, titled 'Jungle Jumpstart,' won the Sweepstakes Award for the most beautiful entry at the 137th Rose Parade. This float, a collaborative effort by students from Cal Poly campuses
in San Luis Obispo and Pomona, was the only student-designed and built entry in the parade. The float featured a 40-foot robot being repaired by rainforest animals, symbolizing teamwork and the integration of nature and technology.
