Kerzner International Holdings Limited and Assets Group have announced the development of Atlantis The Royal in the Maldives, set to open in 2029. Located in South Male Atoll, the resort will feature two distinct islands, Family Island and Luxury Island,
offering 493 keys, including hotel rooms, villas, and mansions. The resort will include 20 dining venues, two beach clubs, and a 70,000-square-metre Aquaventure with iconic rides. Sustainability is a core focus, with initiatives to protect the island ecosystem through responsible design and energy efficiency.
